REMOTE WORKING ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Branson Centre Family:

During this period of rising cases of COVID-19, it is imperative that we, as individuals and organisations, take the necessary precautions to protect ourselves, our families and the wider community. Given the increasing confirmed cases of COVID-19 within Jamaica, the Branson Centre Caribbean offices will be closed for the next 14 days to ensure that our team, the entrepreneurs we serve, and our external stakeholders are secure and protected. As a result, we will be working remotely from now until Monday, March 30.

What does this mean for our entrepreneurs?

We remain steadfast in our mission to create dynamic Caribbean economies, so our operations remain fully functional during this period.

We have already begun to deliver our programme online to minimize disruptions to our current cohort. This mode of working is not unusual for us. Programme content has always been available to our entrepreneurs through our online training platform, and we already have a weekly remote working schedule for our team. We will now be expanding and customizing that approach during this period.

We know that this pandemic has been the cause of stress and upheaval for individuals and businesses alike and services like ours will be critical in the recovery period. It is because of you, our Branson Centre family, that we’ve been able to make a positive impact on the lives of so many Caribbean entrepreneurs. We depend on our partners, volunteers and supporters to make our programme a success and we look forward to your continued support during and after this time.

We will continue to use our digital channels to amplify our amazing entrepreneurs and share resources on business sustainability and resilience as we tackle this virus.

Here are ways you can reach us as we work remotely if you have any questions related to:

Be safe. Stay protected.

Sincerely,

Lauri-Ann Ainsworth
