The Book Merchant
The Book Merchant was established in 1993 when George Davis and Sharon Neita joined forces. Both had worked in the book industry for some time and had secure agency contracts with Pearson Education and Heinemann Publishers, two of the leading educational publishers in the world. Together, they covered the Caribbean region from early childhood to university spaces by providing ‘repping’ services for their publishers. In 1999, a contract was signed to also represent Scholastic, the world’s largest children’s publisher.
