Ion Communications is a creative studio in the business of helping brands connect with their audiences.
Creative director and co-founder Mike Robinson has always been a storyteller. Over the course of his work life, across multiple careers, he has crafted narratives through visual arts, news media, advertising and graphic design. Over the years, Mike observed dramatic changes in Jamaica’s marketing and advertising space – including the rise of digital marketing and shrinking client budgets. That gave him the idea to create a business that could meet clients’ need for quality and consistency at a fraction of the cost of big ad agencies. In 2010, Mike and a partner started the business that would evolve into Ion Communications.
Today, Ion Communications is passionate about creativity and creation. The team gets excited about coming up with ways to communicate stories for its clients’ brands.
