Ingenious Biodegradable Products (IngenBio)
IngenBio is the trading name for CONERME Consultants Company Limited (3CL). IngenBio is a distributor of 100% compostable foodservice products to the food service industry in Jamaica. The IngenBio initiative started in 2017 out of concerns for the environment. During the flooding event of April 2017 many towns and districts were flooded, and they all had one thing in common. There drains were blocked by plastic bottles, single use Styrofoam lunch boxes and plastic bags. 3CL then sought to research other alternatives that were environmentally friendly and healthier for food packaging.
