After a career in public service spanning 26 years, Marva Titley-Smith was ready for a change.

Not just any small change, either. With a diverse set of skills including a diploma in Strategic Management and membership with the Caribbean Institute of Certified Management Consultants, she knew she was ready to make the leap from employee to entrepreneur. And so she did, establishing the British Virgin Islands’ newest management consultancy firm: MatrixSpark.

Marva approaches every project with a simple strategy: recognizing her clients’ unique needs and developing solutions to address them. She offers management training, policy development and consulting services at all levels of business, from students pursuing management qualifications to governments looking to improve small business strategies.

As an entrepreneur herself, Marva recognizes the challenges of establishing one’s own business, as well as the importance of startups in creating and maintaining a thriving Caribbean economy. Bearing this in mind, she has extended her services to include business coaching for entrepreneurs. She believes that aiding and empowering new business owners from the outset will help them to reach their personal goals and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
